As the ‘Shravana Masa’ has commenced scores of Kannada films are launching almost every day. On Monday 12th August there were three launches.

Production No.1 of HPR Entertainment Private Limited by producer Hari Prasad Rao is a remake of Telugu film ‘Swami Ra Ra’(2013 Telugu remake directed by debutant Sudhir Varma starring Nikil Siddarth and Swathi Reddy was released in this March is a box office hit film for producer Chakri Chirugupati). HC Venugopal who directed ‘E Bhumi Aa Bhanu’ says the new screenplay with heart of subject from Telugu is prepared in Kannada version. The nativity is maintained completely. It is about the burglary of an idol at Ananthnapadmanabha Temple in Kerala that travels to different states before landing in Karnataka. The pick pocket thief Prajwal Devaraj and gang are connected to it unknowingly to it he says. It is a comedy, romantic film shot in Bangalore and Kerala for a few days says director Venugopal.

Premkumar scored music for EBAB is back with the same director and he has promised that no tune will be lifted from the original Telugu film.

Chandru is writing dialogues and he makes it a point before asking that it is not a translation. He has also penned five songs for this film. Mithra is another company with Prajwal in pick pocket. Even after 59 films I did not got an opportunity to work with Prajwal and this film is my fortune he says.
